Uncompleted Series Tag

Hey everyone!
Two posts ago I did the
Completed Series Tag but I realized I had many uncompleted series as well. So here I am, doing this post for you all! Like last time, I'll be listing all the book series I haven't finished- and I believe for most of them, it's because the additions in the series are not out yet. This time, I'm providing links to my reviews, too!
Those are all the uncompleted series that I have! I'm excited to finish all these series. I hope you enjoyed, and thanks for reading! -Kait

Book Review: Prodigy by Marie Lu

Hey everyone!
So as some of you may or may not know, I have been a fan of Legend for quite some time and was so excited to read Prodigy! I got it Thursday and finished it yesterday, and I can't stop thinking about it. Marie Lu delivers yet another wonderful story into the life of June and Day so well and so amazing, that I. Can't. Stop. Thinking. About It. In other words, I really recommend this series. So all in all, I give this book a 5/5. This will contain spoilers for the first book, Legend and then later, Prodigy.

Prodigy (Legend, #2)"June and Day arrive in Vegas just as the unthinkable happens: the Elector Primo dies, and his son Anden takes his place. With the Republic edging closer to chaos, the two join a group of Patriot rebels eager to help Day rescue his brother and offer passage to the Colonies. They have only one request—June and Day must assassinate the new Elector.

It’s their chance to change the nation, to give voice to a people silenced for too long.

But as June realizes this Elector is nothing like his father, she’s haunted by the choice ahead. What if Anden is a new beginning? What if revolution must be more than loss and vengeance, anger and blood—what if the Patriots are wrong?

In this highly-anticipated sequel, Lu delivers a breathtaking thriller with high stakes and cinematic action."

I thought this book delivered non-stop action and nothing was anticlimactic and slow. This book blew me away with everything. The characters were great and nothing really hit me as, oh this is boring, or, I hate this part. (Unless of course it was a twist that made your adrenaline running, and you say you hate that part when really you still love the book.)

What I'm Excited to See in Prodigy by Marie Lu

Hey everyone!
So as some of you may know, Prodigy is coming out soon! This book is due to hit book stores January 29, 2013 for the U.S. I am so excited! If you want to see what I thought of the first book, see my review at my other blog here. I actually read this in June of last year, and adored it. But that's not what this post is about! After waiting, we finally get to see further into the world of June and Day. For those who haven't read Legend, this will probably contain spoilers.

Prodigy (Legend, #2)

Goodreads)

Well, what am I excited to see?
There's nothing is particular I wanted to mention, but I wanted to generally go over some things. First of all, I am very excited to go see the Patriots! I think this will be very interesting and we can be able to see a whole other perspective on the Republic. Speaking of the Republic, I'm very intrigued to see where Marie Lu decides to take that. Day and June are both wanted now, so I'm curious to see how they're going to make it through. I also feel as though we're going to find a lot more about the history of the Republic as well as the Colonies. And I hope we'll get to go over there, but my odds are against it considering their job is to get the new Elector Primo, and I don't think we'll find him over in the Colonies. I actually read the first chapter which you can read here. (Just scroll down and click "Read and Excerpt" or just scroll down farther. We also can't forget about Day/June! Possible spoiler for Prodigy: I heard rumors that there was a love triangle (which I'm pretty lenient about but NO, NOT FOR THIS BOOK. So I tweeted Marie Lu saying "I heard... things about Prodigy by Marie Lu about Day... and June... not.. together? ..." and she said this back: "Oh dear, are rumors are spreading already? ;) My lips are zipped!" What does that winky face mean?!!!??! But anyways, sorry for a super not great post, school has been crazy! I still hope you enjoyed! -Kait

Books of 2013 I Can't Wait For

Hey everyone!
Many exciting books are due to come out in the upcoming year that I have been impatiently waiting. So here's the list of books that I am dying to get, but come out in 2013 in order from I really can't wait to a little more patience.

1. Requiem | Lauren Oliver (March 5, 2013)
The ending of Pandemonium. There's so much to look for in that book. I will probably do a separate post when March comes around!

2. Divergent #3 | Veronica Roth (Fall 2013)
Yes, you can see that I really want Requiem if Divergent #3 came in second!

3. Prodigy | Marie Lu ( January 29, 2013)
I loved the first one Legend a lot and can't wait to continue Day and June's story!

4. Unsouled | Neal Shusterman (October 15, 2013)
Again, the first two were great and I can't wait to continue their stories! With Connor and Risa and then Lev, Miracolina, Starkey and Cam. It's going to be awesome!

5. Unravel Me | Taherah Mafi (February 5, 2013)
I can't wait to see how Shatter Me continues. Especially why certain people can touch Juliette without getting killed....

6. Rise | Anna Carey (April 2, 2013)
This series is not my favorite, but I did enjoy it and I really want to see how it turns out!

All these books I'm looking forward to reading! I recommend all the series I mentioned too. :) -Kait
