Hey everyone!
Since August is almost over, you know it's time for a wrap-up! I didn't read a lot this month (5 books, 3 being for school). I'm saving my money for October for all of the new sequels, so I haven't bought any new books. Anyways, here are the five books I read this month and my thoughts!

Uncompleted Series Tag
Hey everyone!
Two posts ago I did the Completed Series Tag but I realized I had many uncompleted series as well. So here I am, doing this post for you all! Like last time, I'll be listing all the book series I haven't finished- and I believe for most of them, it's because the additions in the series are not out yet. This time, I'm providing links to my reviews, too!

How I Get Through Reading School Books
Hey everyone!
So I am sorry if you're already back in school and therefore, this blog may not be all that helpful, but you can still use these tips year round. As for all you procrastinators (including myself) here are a few things I'm doing to get through reading my school books.
So I am sorry if you're already back in school and therefore, this blog may not be all that helpful, but you can still use these tips year round. As for all you procrastinators (including myself) here are a few things I'm doing to get through reading my school books.
- Read 100 pages a day. Most of my books that I have to read are almost 300 pages long, so if I read 100 pages every day, I'm done with the book in three days. On the fourth day, I do all the work for that book.
- Mark every 100 pages. If you do decide to read 100 pages every day, I find using a sticky note and marking every interval helps motivation. You can visually see your progress.
- Set aside time. Sometimes, you have to tell yourself that for the next few hours, I'm going to read and sit down and do it.
- Remove all distractions. Put whatever it is that distracts on the other side of the room, or at least not in reaching distance without getting up. If you get hungry, get a snack before you start reading.
- Read in order of the work load. For instance, the first book I read had a good amount of work, but it wasn't overwhelming. So I did that first so I ease my way into things. Then read the hardest one, or the book that looks the least interesting or something. Lastly, finish it off with the most exciting book or the easiest. Especially if it's a book that seems interesting, hopefully that could motivate you to finish the others first so you can get to the last book.

Completed Series Tag
Hey everyone!
Today I'm doing the Completed Series Tag! For those who are unfamiliar to this, all you do is list all of the series you've completed. Between series that still have books that need to come out and stand-alones, there's not that many! I'm also doing this off the top of my head, so I might miss one or two; I'm also going by the order on my bookcase.

Update: My Story
Hey everyone!
Today I'm doing a small update on my story which you can read on Wattpad by clicking the tab labeled, They Chose Me (My Story). I knew I needed to blog today, although I didn't know what to blog about! So I wanted to share my progress with you on my story.
I started chapter 16 recently, and admittedly, I haven't worked on it in a few days. The great news though is that I am almost done writing! I'm planning on having one more chapter after this one which is very exciting! It's a fairly short story- probably about 38K words, but once I'm finishing revising it with the help of a friend, it will probably be longer. I am planning on finishing the first draft before I go back to school! I might just keep the first draft on Wattpad and then I might upload the whole, final story a few drafts later.
I'm sorry for the short post! If you have any requests, feel free to leave them on any post. Thanks for reading! -Kait

Shatter Me #3 Title and Cover Reveal
Hey everyone!
Yesterday, Shatter Me #3 by Taherah Mafi had earned its title and cover! I honestly love both of them and thought to do a quick post on it! The name for the third and final installment is IGNITE ME which I love. Some crazy stuff is going to happen in this third installment! As for the cover:
This is by far my favorite in the series and possibly my favorite cover of all time. I really just want to get a poster of this and hang it in my room. It's so pretty! I love the flowers and the orange and yellow-green and... it's really great.
Hope you guys enjoyed! Sorry for the short post! -Kait

Book Review: Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe
Hey everyone!
Today I'll be reviewing Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Saenz. I read this because one of my friends loves it and we made a deal: If I read this, she has to read the first Percy Jackson book. Overall, I actually really enjoyed this book!
"Aristotle is an angry teen with a brother in prison. Dante is a know-it-all who has an unusual way of looking at the world. When the two meet at the swimming pool, they seem to have nothing in common. But as the loners start spending time together, they discover that they share a special friendship—the kind that changes lives and lasts a lifetime. And it is through this friendship that Ari and Dante will learn the most important truths about themselves and the kind of people they want to be."
I'm not a huge contemporary reader, but I did like this one. It wasn't my favorite, but still very enjoyable. One thing I loved about this book was the characters. Whether it was Ari or Dante or even to Legs, I really thought they were all interesting. This book also made you think about everything in a way. For instance, when Ari talked about laughing, he was just thinking about it. The concept of the book is fairly simplistic, but it was brought up to a whole other level. I really enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone who likes contemporary books!

My House of Hades Theory
Hey everyone!
So... I kind of created a theory surrounding House of Hades. If we can't read it yet (which is comes out October 8th, 2013), why not come up with some crazy theories? I've gathered some information about the story, and I already read the first chapter which comes with "The Son of Sobek" (which was great!). I'd love to hear what you think in the comments!
This will contain spoilers for the Heroes of Olympus series 1-3!
