Book Review: Finale by Becca Fitzpatrick (Hush, Hush 4)

Hey everyone!
Finale (Hush, Hush, #4)Today's book review is on the final installment of the Hush, Hush series, or Finale. You can find it here on Goodreads. Anyways, this book came out October 23, 2012 and I got it a 2-3 days after that, so I read it a while ago. I'm not going to go into specific events or spoilers because I will only be able to think of one or two; therefore, this book review might be short! THIS WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS FOR THE FIRST THREE!

"Will love conquer all?

Nora and Patch thought their troubles were behind them. Hank is gone and they should be able to put his ugly vendetta to rest. But in Hank's absence, Nora has become the unwitting head of the Nephilim and must finish what Hank began. Which ultimately means destroying the fallen angels - destroying Patch.

Nora will never let that happen, so she and Patch make a plan: lead everyone to believe they have broken up, and work the system from the inside. Nora will convince the Nephilim that they are making a mistake in fighting the fallen angels, and Patch will find out everything he can from the opposing side. They will end this war before it can even begin.

But the best-laid plans often go awry. Nora is put through the paces in her new role and finds herself drawn to an addictive power she never anticipated.

As the battle lines are drawn, Nora and Patch must confront the differences that have always been between them and either choose to ignore them or let them destroy the love they have always fought for."

Overall, I really liked this book. This book was less of a thriller than the first two, which I did, and yet I didn't, like. I'm not normally one fore thrillers, but it was really exciting to read Hush, Hush and Crescendo. Anyways, this book was very interesting. Personally, it was probably my second favorite out of the four, with Hush, Hush in the lead. So I do recommend it. If, for instance, you didn't like Patch in the first book, he definitely develops so much, as well as Nora. If you read the first few books, I would suggest reading them all, but it really depends. I have to finish a book, and most of the time, the series too.

SPOILERS:

I can't remember much, but I do have somethings such as:
Rixon: We get to see him again, which surprised me!
Detective Basso: I knew something was up with him; however, I did not see it coming that he was an arch angel!
Dante: I knew something was up with him too! :/
Vee: Wow. I have to be honest, I didn't see that coming until Nora started talking to her. Vee, the Nephilim.
Patch: At the end of the book he can finally feel! Ahh, that was great!
Scott: Oh Scott. It was so sad! He was one of my favorite characters! Ugh.

I'm sorry it's not much, but that's all I can really remember that really surprised me1 Thanks for reading! -Kait
